Pimrin cream
Pimrin cream 5% is a topical medicine containing permethrin 5%. Permethrin is an established antiparasitic agent used on the skin, most notably for the treatment of scabies. Regulatory labeling and published reviews also describe permethrin as a pediculicide, but the 5% cream formulation is primarily identified for scabies treatment.

Clinically important precautions include the possibility of persistent itch after treatment, which is described in labeling as a common post-treatment finding rather than proof of treatment failure.
