Important Safety Information
Sildenafil must not be used with nitrates in any form because of the risk of marked blood pressure lowering. It is also contraindicated with riociguat. Caution is needed with alpha-blockers and antihypertensive medicines because of additive blood pressure effects. Medicines that strongly affect CYP3A4 can change sildenafil exposure, including some protease inhibitors and other strong inhibitors. Regulatory information also advises against use in patients for whom sexual activity is inadvisable and in certain patients with significant cardiovascular, liver, low blood pressure, or recent stroke or myocardial infarction histories. Rare hereditary retinal disorders are also listed among important contraindications in product information.
Possible Side Effects
