Description

Super P-Force (Sildenafil + Dapoxetine) 100 mg + 60 mg

Super p-force is presented as a combination of sildenafil and dapoxetine. Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used for erectile dysfunction, while dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor developed for premature ejaculation. This combination has been studied in men who have both erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, but the specific trade name should be treated as a product identifier rather than proof of regulatory approval in any particular market.

Active Ingredient and Medicine Class

Sildenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. It relaxes smooth muscle in the penis by enhancing nitric oxide–mediated blood flow responses. Dapoxetine is a short-acting SSRI. It increases serotonin activity and is used to help delay ejaculation.

Established Medical Uses

Sildenafil has established use in erectile dysfunction, and also has an approved role in pulmonary arterial hypertension in some products. Dapoxetine has established use in premature ejaculation in men in countries where it is authorised. The combination has been investigated for men with both conditions, but combination use is not a substitute for official product approval or individual clinical assessment.

How It Works

Sildenafil blocks PDE5, which helps preserve cyclic GMP and supports erection in response to sexual stimulation. Dapoxetine inhibits serotonin reuptake, which can increase serotonin signalling involved in ejaculatory control. Their combined use aims to address two different sexual dysfunction pathways.

Important Safety Information

Sildenafil should not be used with nitrates because of the risk of a marked blood pressure drop. It also requires caution in people with cardiovascular disease or other conditions in which vasodilation may be problematic. Dapoxetine has important contraindications and precautions related to serotonergic medicines, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, severe hepatic impairment, and drugs that strongly inhibit CYP3A4. Alcohol may increase dizziness and fainting risk with dapoxetine. When combined, additive blood-pressure effects and other interaction risks need to be considered.

Possible Side Effects

Commonly reported effects of sildenafil include headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, and visual disturbance. Dapoxetine may cause nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, insomnia, and fainting. Combination studies reported mostly mild, non-serious adverse events, with headache, palpitations, and flushing among the more common reactions. Serious reactions can include significant hypotension, syncope, hypersensitivity, or cardiovascular events in susceptible patients.

Scientific Evidence

Clinical studies in men with premature ejaculation and concomitant erectile dysfunction found that dapoxetine plus sildenafil improved ejaculatory latency and erectile-function measures over short treatment periods. Other randomised research has also examined dapoxetine with sildenafil in men with premature ejaculation, supporting short-term efficacy signals and an acceptable tolerability profile in studied populations. These studies were limited in size and duration.
