Super sildamax 100 mg + 60 mg is a combination tablet identified by the supplied product name as containing sildenafil and dapoxetine. These studies suggest the combination can improve ejaculation-related outcomes and erectile-function measures in selected patients, but they do not establish this fixed-dose product as universally approved or interchangeable with authorised single-ingredient products.
How It Works
Sildenafil works by blocking PDE5, which helps relax blood vessels in the penis and supports erection during sexual stimulation. Dapoxetine increases serotonin signalling in the nervous system, which can help delay ejaculation. Human pharmacokinetic data and clinical studies show that dapoxetine and sildenafil can be used together without a major pharmacokinetic interaction, although this does not remove the need to consider additive safety issues.
Important Safety Information
Sildenafil is contraindicated with nitrates and with riociguat because of the risk of marked hypotension. It also requires caution with other blood-pressure-lowering medicines and potent CYP3A inhibitors.
Dapoxetine should not be used with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, thioridazine, other SSRIs or SNRIs, other serotonergic medicines, or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, because of the risk of serotonin syndrome, fainting, or increased exposure. It is also associated with orthostatic symptoms and syncope in susceptible patients.
Possible Side Effects
Common adverse effects reported with sildenafil include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, dyspepsia, and visual disturbance. Important serious reactions include severe hypotension, chest pain, priapism, and rare sudden hearing or vision problems.
Common adverse effects reported with dapoxetine include nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, somnolence, and insomnia. More serious concerns include fainting, serotonin syndrome, mood-related effects, and interactions with other serotonergic or psychotropic medicines.
Scientific Evidence
Clinical evidence includes a randomised placebo-controlled study of dapoxetine in men with premature ejaculation and concomitant erectile dysfunction treated with a PDE5 inhibitor, which found improved ejaculation and patient-reported outcomes versus placebo. A separate open-label study of a sildenafil/dapoxetine combination also reported improved intravaginal ejaculatory latency time and erectile-function scores, with mostly mild adverse effects such as headache, flushing, and palpitations.
